Commercial O&M
Arrays do not fail loudly. A tripped string, a dirty module row or a dead monitoring gateway quietly removes 8–15% of production and keeps billing you nothing. We monitor, inspect and repair commercial portfolios, including arrays we did not build.
What goes wrong
None of these trip a breaker or call anyone. They show up as a production number that is a little lower than last year, which is exactly why portfolios go years without noticing.
One combiner fuse or a failed optimizer takes a whole string offline. The array keeps reporting, just lower.
Dust, pollen and winter grime build up on low-tilt commercial arrays, which never get a good rain rinse.
A site changes its network or the gateway dies. Production is fine but nobody can see it, or prove it for an incentive filing.
Ballast shift, chafed conduit and failed pitch pans turn into a roof claim long before they turn into a power problem.
The single most expensive component and the one with the shortest life. Lead times run weeks if nobody is tracking warranty status.
Birds nesting under modules, rodents in the DC runs, trees that were small when the array went in.
Service plans
Priced per site per year, scaled to system size. Multi-site portfolios are quoted as one agreement with one point of contact.
Plan 1
For owners who want to know, and will dispatch repairs themselves.
Remote only · no site visits
Plan 2 · Most portfolios
Everything in Monitor, plus scheduled preventive work and labor included.
Annual agreement · 1–3 yr terms
Plan 3
For sites where production is contractually promised to someone else.
Negotiated · portfolio pricing
Orphaned systems
Solar has had a decade of companies closing, selling and walking away from service obligations. We take those systems over regularly. The first step is not a contract. It is a condition assessment that tells you what you actually own, what is still under manufacturer warranty, and what it will take to get production back to where the original model said it should be.

How a ticket runs
Monitoring flags the fault before the site does. Most owners hear about the problem from us, not the other way round.
A technician checks inverter logs, string data and comms. A real share of faults clear remotely without anyone driving anywhere.
If it needs hands, you get a scheduled window and the name of the tech coming. Site contacts and access requirements are already in the file.
Fix, then confirm the string is back at expected output before the truck leaves. Photos and readings attached to the ticket.
Written summary, warranty claim filed if the part qualifies, and the recovered production quantified in the monthly report.
Send a site list and whatever monitoring access you have. We will tell you which sites are underperforming their model before you buy anything from us.
